Full board and accommodation during the tour. The menu consists of a good breakfast and traditional Icelandic meals. Vegetarian meals can be arranged (please advise when booking).
The riders make their own lunch from the breakfast.

For Þórsmörk,In to the Highlands,Around the Glaciers and Landmannalaugar you will stay in mountain huts and/or guesthouses. Be prepared to stay crowded and shared with others. Toilet and shower facilities are available at most stops.
On the tour Hekla Wilderness we live simply. Always warm with shelter, but sometimes we sleep on mattresses on the floor. It's an adventure in the Icelandic wilderness.
Two options the last night
You have two options on all our longer tours ( Thórsmörk, In to the Highlands, Hekla Wilderness, Around the Glaciers and Landmannalaugar) regarding the last night.
Either you spend it at the farm with barbecue, breakfast and drop off in Reykjavik BSÌ 11.00 am,
or (for those with early morning flights) spend last night at a guesthouse in Reykjavik without dinner but with breakfast.
On our tours we change horse during the day. This gives us good fresh horses all day long. We heard the loose horses with us in a free running heard.
It is better to pack in a hard suitcase rather than in soft bag as the baggage is carried in a trailer.

It is important to disinfect your leather things, (shoes, chaps, saddlebag etc.) before coming to Iceland, as infections easily cna be brought in from other countries. Use jod or other disinfections. Wash other ridingclothess usually. Read more about this HERE.
There's beer for purchase on the tours which is paid in cash in Icelandic currency. On the farm we have a wool shop where we sell woolen goods that you can pay by card.
Children should be at least 10 years old to join our shorter and longer tours and will get 10% off up to 14 years.
